Ricardo Gooden of RSTA Gooden was granted the prestigious title of Master Plasterer by the Worshipful Company of Plaisterers at a special ceremony in London on 11 March 2024.

In order to be eligible for the Master Plasterer Award, a plasterer must have been active in the industry for more than 20 years and demonstrate that their work meets the Company’s high standards.

The Worshipful Company of Plaisterers was originally formed as a trade guild of the City of London to regulate the quality of plastering in the City and to safeguard the welfare and interests of plasterers.

Ricardo, who was presented with his Master Certificate by the Lord Mayor of London, says: “I’ve worked in restoration and conservation for many years so to be honoured with this award was a very proud moment for me.

“It really meant a lot, especially as only a handful of plasterers are given the title of Master Plasterer by the Company each year.”
