Restoring the historic Screens Passage at Speke Hall

What We Did

The lime plasterwork in this historic part of Speke Hall was showing signs of deterioration which needed specalist attention.

The plaster was carefully removed, revealing beautifully-carved repurposed timbers, as well as what appeared to be a bricked-up doorway to the east.

RSTA Gooden made repairs to the lime plasterwork and a scored ‘stone block’ effect was restored in the new plaster.
