Grade II Listed Property Restoration
Renovation of this Grade 2 Listed property included works to the Vestibule, Ground Floor Bathroom, Hallway, Master Bedroom, Bathroom and Third Floor "loft".
After a recent renovation, dry rot was discovered in many of the walls and ceilings and had spread over 3 floors of the property.
2 Weeks before the property was ready to move in to, RStA Gooden was called in to Lime plaster 2 walls in the cloak room.
This is when dry rot and damp was discovered that the previous contractors, whom had completed their works, had not noticed or informed the client of. The dry rot and damp had spread over 3 floors of the property and most of the previous completed renovation and decoration had to be removed to take care of this serious underlying problem.
